I was broke, excited, scared, broken, and ashamed. My baby boy was a month and a half old, and I just graduated with my master's degree and I was unsure of how I would still achieve the goals I set for myself. During my pregnancy, I had an abundance of genuine love, support, and prayerful people around me that continued to keep me focused on this new unexpected chapter of life.
 
With the rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions, I remember thinking to myself, "I have been so blessed, how can I give other single mothers the same love, wisdom, support, and hope that I have received during my pregnancy?"
 
 God planted this idea on my heart, while I was pregnant. I know it is my opportunity to change lives, just as my "village" has changed mines. 
 
So here I am, years later, finally letting go of the fear of this organization not being successful and impactful to my community. Join me as I take this leap of faith to help support single mothers pursuing their educational and personal goals.
